2. Submit assessment and decision | 2.1. The decision to reject or accept an application is formed on the basis of total credit assessment conducted and credit policy 2.2. Decisions to advance funds or extend credit that fall outside the officer's approval or limits of authority are referred to relevant approving personnel 2.3. Recommendations to accept or reject applications to provide credit or advance funds and any required security are prepared and forwarded to relevant personnel promptly and in accordance with organisation procedures |
3. Maintain application records and complete necessary documentation | 3.1. Context of and specific resources for assessment | Assessment must ensure: competency is demonstrated in the context of the work environment and conditions specified in the range statement either in a relevant workplace or a closely simulated work environment access to and the use of a range of common office equipment, technology, software and consumables access to credit product information access to a relevant software system and data access to organisation policies and procedures. |
Method of assessment | A range of assessment methods should be used to assess practical skills and knowledge. The following examples, in combination, are appropriate for this unit: evaluating an integrated activity which combines the elements of competency for the unit or a cluster of related units of competency observing processes and procedures in workplaces or role plays verbal or written questioning on underpinning knowledge and skills evaluating samples of work accessing and validating third party reports. |
